Mike Yager

Mike & Laurie Yager

Corvette Legend

Meet and Greet on Vineyards Cruise

Mike Yager’s Corvette story began in 1970, when he bought his first Corvette at just 20 years old. When he realized there was no local Corvette club in his area, he started one himself. As the club grew, Mike saw another gap—there was no real place for Corvette enthusiasts to buy Corvette merchandise. He began gathering whatever Corvette-related items he could find and offering them at club events and car shows. What started as a simple idea, backed by a $500 loan, grew into Mid America Motorworks, now one of the world’s largest suppliers of Corvette parts and accessories.

Mike is also the founder of the legendary Funfest, the annual celebration he created to honor the customers and enthusiasts who helped build the Corvette community. Each year, Funfest brings together thousands of Corvette lovers for a one-of-a-kind gathering capped off by concerts featuring iconic bands such as REO Speedwagon and The Beach Boys.

His passion for Corvette extends far beyond business. Mike has served in numerous clubs and organizations, including the National Corvette Museum, where he was Chairman of the Board in 2002. He also helped launch “Drive Your Corvette to Work Day,” led efforts for a commemorative stamp honoring Corvette’s 50th Anniversary, and supported the campaign for a National Day of Recognition celebrating Corvette’s birthday.

Freddie Langston

Freddie & Lu Langston

Musician & Singer

Meet and Greet on Vineyards Cruise

Freddie Langston has a long history of using his musical gifts to bring joy and create a community feel in all kinds of situations.

It started in his high school folk band and quickly expanded into a unique & privileged career of “building bridges” in high school assemblies all across America through President Reagan’s “Just Say No” initiative.

Using his winsome gift of gab and his broad range of musical genres he was invited to perform in several other countries as well.

In the Philippines, he was nicknamed “the one man disco”, and now in his senior years, he can still rock the house for the newlyweds to the nearly deads.

Dianne Parker

@fiveheartsmahjong

Mahjong cruise hostess

Dianne is an devoted wife, proud mom of five, entrepreneur, and lifelong traveler who believes the best adventures are the ones shared with others.

Her passion for exploring the world began early and led her to spend a year living in Vienna, Austria, as a Rotary Scholar - an experience that deepened her appreciation for different cultures, connections, and lifelong friendships.

Professionally, Dianne has practiced law, owned and operated a successful insurance agency for 28 years and has spent the last six years bringing smiles to her community through her family's ownership of Whit's Frozen Custard.

Most recently, she has fallen in love with Mahjong - not only for the strategy and excitement of the game, but for the meaningful connections it creates. What started as a hobby quickly became a passion for building community, fostering friendships, and bringing people together around the table.

As your Mahjong cruise hostess, Dianne looks forward to sharing her enthusiasm for the game, creating memorable experiences, and helping guests form new friendships while enjoying the journey along the river.
