Current Guests!

We have Extended the Balance Due Payments for July Cruises with our Valued Guests in Mind!

At present, we are still scheduled to sail in July for the Enchanting Rhine Cruise, the Rhine & Moselle Delights Cruise, and the Summer Rhine Adventure. We realize this is a tenuous situation, and the likelihood of sailing slim, but our contractual obligations do not allow us to determine that as of this date. Should these scheduled sailings change, travelers will be promptly notified. We understand that you may have questions, and we are doing our best to navigate this unprecedented situation. We are extending our balance due payments to our guests to the following dates as seen below.

  • Enchanting Rhine Cruise, July 14, updated balance due date is May 15, 2020.
  • Rhine & Moselle Delights Cruise, July 20, updated balance due date is May 21, 2020.
  • Summer Rhine Adventure, July 28, updated balance due date is May 29, 2020.

If you have any questions regarding the above, please email info@teemingrc.com

Coronavirus (COVID -19) Update – March 11, 2020

As of this evening (March 11), the U.S. government has announced it is suspending all travel from Europe to the United States for 30 days in response to the escalating coronavirus outbreak. In light of this, we will be rescheduling our first cruise of the season that was going to depart Lyon, France on April 2, 2020. Thank you for your patience as we work through the details and contact all guests. We are working on our schedule to determine the best options and course of action for all our guests.

All other Teeming River Cruises’ 2020 sailings and itineraries are currently planned to operate as scheduled. However, we continue to daily monitor this situation for new developments and will strive to respond in a timely manner to the evolving travel situation due to COVID-19.

New Cancellation Guidelines:

During this time of uncertainty for international travel, we understand that enhanced flexibility will help alleviate prospective guests’ travel concerns while making plans for the upcoming summer and fall cruises. Teeming River Cruises’ new cancellation policy will be effective as of March 1, 2020, through May 3, 2020.

For cancellations of bookings made within this time period:

Teeming River Cruises will allow all guests who book from March 1 to May 3, 2020, for a cruise departure on or after July 14, 2020, to forego our standard cancelation policy and will provide them the option of transferring their cruise payment toward another Teeming River Cruises’ 2020 sailing or receiving a full refund.

This policy applies only to new bookings made between March 1, 2020, and May 3, 2020.

This policy is not retroactive to any booking made prior to March 1, 2020.

These temporary changes in our cancellation policy do not negate the need to purchase travel insurance. At TeemingRC, we continue to strongly recommend the purchase of travel insurance for all guests.

Any cancellation must be made at least 30 days prior to the sailing date. Rebookings can be made up to 30 days prior to departure and is based on the availability of that sailing.

As always, we looking forward to welcoming our guests aboard their Teeming River Cruises’ tour and delivering the teeming travel experience our prior guests beam about. Thank you for reading this important information and for your understanding as we navigate this unprecedented, continually evolving situation.

Coronavirus (COVID -19) Update – February 29, 2020

Teeming River Cruises is closely monitoring the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, including recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO), the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We will keep apprised of any recommended screenings, monitoring and protocols for our ships, passengers, and crew put forth by these agencies.

Our utmost priority is always the health, safety, and security of our guests and crew. Accordingly, we are cautiously monitoring the situation while developing precautionary measures such as enhanced pre-boarding procedures in an abundance of caution. These precautionary measures are based on the recommendations issued by the official authorities and may include a health and travel questionnaire, temperature checking, and illness screening for guests presenting with a fever and/or respiratory symptoms.

As an added precaution for the health and safety of all of our guests, anyone who has traveled from/visited or transited through any country with a current Level 3 Travel Health Notice within the 28 days prior to the start of their embarkation date will not be allowed to travel on the Teeming River Cruises’ cruise. As of February 28, 2020, the CDC listed China, Iran, Italy, and South Korea as Level 3 (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/about/transmission.html).

In addition, some governments have implemented broader restrictions, limiting the arrival of travelers who have traveled from/visited or transited through countries beyond those covered in the above policy. Accordingly, we recommend that you check the current travel policy of your upcoming travel destination(s) for further details.
